2021 Sanitary Consent Decree Public Meeting

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) held its Fourth Annual Consent Decree Public Information Session on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this meeting was held in a virtual format. Some 122 people joined this online meeting. Paul DeSantis, DPW’s Chief of Legal and Regulatory Affairs, presented an overview of the Department’s work, especially over the last 12 months, to meet the terms and conditions of the Modified Consent Decree. The annual public meeting is a requirement of the Modified Consent Decree, entered in U.S. District Court on Oct. 6, 2017.
